As a writer, you need to add some relevant pictures to your content as it makes more sense to your article. Visitors always find the images first, a pictorial illustration or images with description will always help you to drive more traffic to your website. I use few free image resources online and here, i have also listed some more resources.
This is my favorite source for free images. I usually pick images from here. This site doesn't need any signup procedures to download photos.
This is my second favorite and here photos are listed according to their categories, which makes searching easy.
I use pictures from this site very scarcely, but this is favorite of most of my writing pals. No sign up is needed. They have large number of image collections and some pictures need some procedures to be followed for downloading.
Recently, i downloaded a picture from morguefile. I liked this site, but there is only little picture collection. But it is worth searching this site as they have really good pictures, which you cannot find in another sites.
